Happy Turkey Day

Today was my first Thanksgiving. Boy, was it an exciting day! In the morning

Mom put me in a special holiday outfit with a new headband Grandma R.

made me.

I used my hands (which I am getting very good at using!) to grab the tulle in the shirt. Then, I decided to suck on it because teething is my new thing.

 Mommy and daddy even got dressed up to go

to Aunt Kim's in Pennsylvania for the day.

 Mom sat in the back seat with me during the hour long trip there.

 I tried to look out the window before I got sleepy and took a siesta the rest of the ride.

 When I got there I played with one of my favorite toys, Mr. turkey.

 Mom tried switching the channel to the Thanksgiving day parade on tv when it was half time in football. But, the men were not having it.

 This is how I felt about that. Boo!

 So Mom and I made silly faces at each other to pass the time.

 Then Dad joined in the silly face action.

 Then, we took one last picture in my outfit before I had to change. Lets just say it got a little dirty. I am a lady, so I will keep it at that.

 Mom gave me to gram for a second, but my crankyness came out because I was ready to eat. Sorry great grandma v!

 Aunt Kim made a yummy dinner for the adults. Grandma r. made the sweet potato casserole with nuts and marshmallows! Yum!

 Gram was looking extra special in her nice outfit!

 She always brings a smile to mom's face!

Everyone got to eat ham, turkey mashed potatoes,

green bean cassarole, biscuits... a lot of food!

 

All I got to eat was my cold teething ring. Major boo! Can't wait for next year when I will be in my big girl high chair shoving those delicious morsels into my mouth.

Dad let me sit at the table with the adults though. Yay!

 Mom told me she was very thankful for daddy.

 She was very thankful for family. 

And she was most thankful for me.

Daddy said he was thankful for "everything-

our family and how much love we have."
