Portsmouth, NH

We went on a family trip up to Maine this summer and decided to stop in a few places along the way. We first stopped in Hartford, Connecticut to lunch at The Table. Mom and Dad saw they had good reviews and took a chance. It was so delish, minus the no high chair situation. Then, we got back on the road to drive another three hours to stay two days in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

We toured Strawberry Banke, one of New Hampshire's oldest neighborhoods.
We toured a lot of the old homes and went into some museums.
Mom even tried an old game they used to play with a hoop and stick.
The neighborhood store had a man who acted like he was back in time.
He was really into his character and made us laugh.
The gardens were so magical.
After Strawberry Banke we walked around town to see all the old buildings.

Then, ended the day with a delicious ice cream. Yum!
Next stop, Kennebunkport!
