Today we celebrated my first birthday with a pink cupcake themed blowout! Mom worked very hard and crafted a ton to make sure there was pink everywhere.
She made enough rice crispy treats, marshmallow pops,
and chocolate covered pretzel rods to feed an army!
This was a yummy cupcake cake! For details on this to follow.
I have changed a lot during these past 12 months.
Shout out to Mom for making gifts for my friends.
People wrote sweet messages and well wishes in my book.
Mom put it in my time capsule to read when I am 18.
Dad and Ed got the new swing set all ready for out guests. Thanks guys!
Grandma helped craft the cupcake blankets for people to sit on.
My very own cupcake shop!
These were the bane of Mom's existence
(whatever that means), but she eventually got them done.
I played in my new water table a bunch at the party to cool down.
There were so many special people at the party that I got to see.
At the end I got to sit in my fancy chair and eat cake.
At first I was timid, but once Dad put a tad of
that sweet icing in my mouth it was all over!
I was such a mess, but it was so worth it!
People were too generous and brought a lot of presents. But, most
importantly I had fun celebrated with the people who love me.
Dad didn't take down the tent a few days later and this happened. Whoops!
I couldn't have asked for a better 1st Birthday party!
Just remember- Keep Calm and Eat a Cupcake!
