So I got to meet the big guy yesterday. SANTA! Yes, the one and only Santa! To my surprise he was visiting the Monmouth Mall right down the street from our house! But, not before Mom introduced me to Macy's shoe department where she told me we would spend a lot of time in the years to come. She picked out some beautiful shoes for going back to work (major BOO) and then got some lunch with daddy, grandma r. and great-grandma v. Then, it was show time!
I woke up from my nap and was such a happy girl to see all of the flowers, lights, and reindeer around me. No, the reindeer were not real silly! Santa told me Rudolph and all of his other friends were at the North Pole getting ready for Christmas.
Mom put on my festive headband and I was ready to sit on the big guy's lap.
Mom felt a little bad for putting on such a frilly
headband, but don't worry mom, I loved it!
Santa was just as awesome as mom and dad had described. He was very sweet and asked me what I wanted to Christmas. Don't you know I don't know how to talk yet mister? But, hopefully he could read my mind. I was thinking that I have everything I need for Christmas- a mommy and daddy that love me so much, two furry brothers, and a family that is so very special to me. But... any teething, musical, fun toy will never be turned away ;)
Santa was very smitten with great-grandma v. and wanted her to come sit on his lap. So we all joined in for some fun to take a picture of all four generations of ladies in the family. What a special day I had! Hope Santa gets some rest before Christmas day. He sure does have a lot of houses to visit!
